(St. Petersburg, FL) Fidelity National Indemnity Insurance Company (Fidelity Flood), the nation’s largest provider of federal flood insurance, will be renamed Wright National Flood Insurance Company and do business as Wright Flood pending final regulatory approval by the Texas Department of Insurance. The name change is part of a corporate-wide initiative to unify the brands of The Wright Insurance Group and will have no effect on customer service according to Henry Neal Connolly, President of Wright Flood.
“As Wright Flood, we will continue to make federal flood insurance and excess flood insurance easy to buy and renew through the more than 17,000 independent agencies who represent us while providing the same great service, expertise and claims excellence our over 650,000 policyholders have come to expect,” Connolly said.
Wright Flood also retains its A- (Excellent) rating from AM Best. “Agents, partners and policyholders can continue to reach Wright Flood as they always have and with the same level of confidence,” noted G. Michael Sloane, Chief Marketing Officer.
